Hunan Rongli New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as “Rongli New Materials”) was established in July 2020 and is headquartered in Ningxiang City, Changsha, Hunan Province, a national-level high-tech industrial development zone. It is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of negative electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries, as well as the application of these materials in lithium-ion power and energy-storage batteries. The company also covers the field of consumer-grade lithium batteries, including aluminum-shell, cylindrical, and pouch-cell types.

Hunan Rongli began production in March 2021, with an annual output of 55,000 tons and an annual output value of 800 million yuan. In April 2023, the company invested in the construction of a new, wholly-owned subsidiary—the Inner Mongolia Rongli Battery Materials Co., Ltd.—to develop an integrated high-end graphite materials project. Located in the Ordos Zero-Carbon Industrial Park within the Mengsu Economic Development Zone, this project has a total investment of 8 billion yuan and is designed to have an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons. Upon reaching full capacity, the project is expected to generate an annual output value of 4.5 billion yuan.

2025

In March, Academician Xu Zhenghe from the Southern University of Science and Technology jointly unveiled the “SUSTech Department of Materials—Rongli New Energy Carbon-Based Materials Joint Laboratory.”

2024

In August, Hunan Rongsheng Trading Co., Ltd. was established.

In December, the Changsha Enterprise Technology Center and the Changsha Enterprise R&D Center for Capacity Expansion and Upgrading.

2023

In January, Changsha City recognized innovative small and medium-sized enterprises.

In April, the signing ceremony for the Inner Mongolia master plan project with an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons. Hunan Province’s specialized, sophisticated, and new small and medium-sized enterprises.

In May, Hunan Province Enterprise Technology Center

In November, the second-phase production line with an annual capacity of 50,000 tons went into operation.

2022

In January, we signed the Phase II investment promotion contract with the Ningxiang High-Tech Zone.

In June, we brought on board Dingxintaihe, a strategic investment partner. The 50,000-ton-per-year project in Ningxiang has commenced construction, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan and covering an area of 152 mu.

In July, we signed a strategic investment agreement with Ordos in Inner Mongolia.

In August, we obtained IATF16949 system certification.

In October, we were certified as a National High-Tech Enterprise.

2021

In March, the first-phase production line with an annual capacity of 5,000 tons was put into operation.

In June, we obtained certification under the ISO three-system framework.

2020

In July, Rongli New Materials was established.
