Hunan Rongli New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Rongli New Materials”) was established in July 2020 and is headquartered in Ningxiang City, Changsha, Hunan Province, a national-level high-tech industrial development zone. The company specializes in the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of negative electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries, as well as the application of these materials in lithium-ion power and energy-storage batteries. It is also a national high-tech enterprise that covers the entire spectrum of personal-consumption lithium batteries, including those housed in aluminum casings, cylindrical cells, and pouch cells.
Hunan Rongli began operations in March 2021, with an annual production capacity of 55,000 tons and an output value of 800 million yuan. In April 2023, the company invested in the construction of a new wholly-owned subsidiary—the Inner Mongolia Rongli Battery Materials Co., Ltd.—to develop an integrated high-end graphite materials project. Located in the Ordos Zero-Carbon Industrial Park within the Mengsu Economic Development Zone, this project has a total investment of 16.6 billion yuan and is designed to have an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons. Upon reaching full production capacity, the project is expected to generate an annual output value of 17 billion yuan.
